Timlin and Fairhurst go back

4 Nov

Michael Timlin and Waide Fairhurst have both returned to their parent clubs.
Timlin was recalled by Swindon, who have something of a selection crisis in midfield, while Paul Sturrock decided not to renew the loan of Fairhurst, who failed to make an impact at Roots Hall after joining for a month in early October.
It leaves Blues looking light ahead of Saturday’s clash with Macclesfield Town. Peter Gilbert is suspended and Chris Barker is ruled out with a calf strain. Johnny Herd and Graham Coughlan could come in, but Timlin was emergency left back during Tuesday night’s abandoned league clash with Cheltenham.
