Southend sign A German. And a bloke from Oxford

Southend have swooped to sign A German on loan today.
But no need to worry about mentioning the war, the player in question is 18-year-old Antonio German, who signs on a month’s loan from QPR.
The striker has scored twice in five games for the R’s, and is eligible to play in tomorrow’s FA Cup clash with Macclesfield at Moss Road.
Paul Sturrock has also added 27-year-old Oxford striker Jack Midson to his squad. Midson joins until December 29th, and has scored three times in 11 matches for the U’s so far this season. Midson can also play in tomorrow’s cup clash.
