Geoffrey King will leave his position as chief executive of Southend United FC to concentrate on his role with property company Martin Dawn PLC, the club’s backers, the Echo revealed today.
In a restructure, Ian Riddoch, the club’s commercial director, will also leave despite having held the position for only ten months.
