Southend fans “deliriously happy” says poll

A poll commissioned by the Strange But False department of research has revealed that Southend fans are the happiest they have been for several years.
The results come as the Blues’ last two matches have been postponed. Combined with the club’s annual rest weekend for the second round of the FA Cup, Southend fans have now not been forced to watch their team since November 23rd.
And this has delighted Blues fans, with many able to now enjoy preferable activities such as shopping, DIY, and sticking rusty forks into their eyeballs.
