Southend progress to Essex Cup semi

Southend’s second string progressed to the semi-final of the Essex Senior Cup with a 2-1 win over Grays Athletic last night.
Trialist centre back, and former Southend youth-teamer, David Obaze, scored the winning goal in the second half to win the game for Graham Coughlan’s side.
