FLYING winger Ryan Hall has given Southend United a massive boost by signing a new two-year contract.
Hall has made a huge impact in the second half of the season, scoring seven goals since January having joined on a free transfer from non-league Bromley.
The winger has had off-field problems and almost went to jail after being charged with affray.
But despite this, he is a fan’s favourite at the club and the news will reassure worried fans who fear that the club will lose its best players during the summer due to the precarious financial situation.
