Southend line up Ipswich clash

Blues’ first pre-season friendly has been arranged, with Championship side Ipswich Town making the trip to Roots Hall on July 22nd.
The sides were due to play each other last summer but the match had to be cancelled as Southend did not have enough players.
A possible pre-season tour has yet to be confirmed, but it is believed Southend are lined up to play a four-team tournament with East Fife, Hearts and Raith.
