Glenn Morris has confirmed that he is likely to stay with Southend United having been offered a one-year contract extension.
The stopper has impressed this season, maintaining the number one spot throughout and producing some fine performances.
Other out-of-contract players at the club are to learn their fate over the next few days. Amongst those whose futures are up in the air are captain Craig Easton, strikers Blair Sturrock and Kyle Asante, defender Luke Prosser, youngster Merrick James-Lewis and player-coach Graham Coughlan.
