N’diaye set for Southend loan

15 Jun

NO, don’t panic, it’s not the return of mid-90s waste-of-space Sada. The N’diaye in question is Crystal Palace midfielder Alassane, who is reported by the South London Press to be on his way to Roots Hall on a season-long loan.
The move for the French-Senegalese, yet to be confirmed by sources at Southend, is likely to increase speculation about the future of Craig Easton, who is stalling on signing a new contract with Blues.
N’Diaye is 6ft 5ins tall and spent some time on loan at Swindon last year. The 21-year-old has played 38 times for Palace, scoring three goals.
Some Southend fans may doubt the source – the SLP reported only a few weeks ago that Neil Harris had turned down a move to the Essex coast to stay and fight for his Millwall place.
