SOUTHEND United have suspended midfielder Jemal Johnson for up to 14 days in order to carry out a review into his conduct.
The American was arrested by police following an incident at Faces nightclub, Gants Hill, last month. He is currently on police bail until January.
Johnson has endured a tough start to his time at Southend since joining in the summer. He has made only two starts for the club and is currently well down the pecking order as Blues push for promotion to League One.
