Blues snap up winger Martin

DERBY County winger David Martin becomes the second player to join Southend in the January transfer window as Paul Sturrock continues to bolster his squad for a promotion push.
Martin, 26, previously played for Millwall before joining the Rams for £150,000 in 2010. However, he has managed just a couple of appearances for the first team, and has been shipped out on loan to Notts County and Walsall.
He has signed an 18-month deal with Blues, who have paid a small undisclosed fee for his services.
