CRAWLEY Town are reported to be monitoring Blues’ controversial defender Bilel Mohsni. The French-Tunisian is currently nursing an ankle injury but has infuriated his team mates, manager and fans with several displays of indiscipline this season already.
However, he remains a popular player amongst Blues supporters, and Crawley manager Steve Evans, himself someone that could politely be described as “a character” is seemingly willing to take the risk to sign Mohsni.
However, despite his problems, Sturrock is well aware of Mohsni’s ability and is reluctant to part with him unless a significant fee is received, particularly as Crawley are amongst Southend’s promotion rivals.
