Aldershot game rearranged

THE abandoned clash between Aldershot and Southend has been rearranged for Tuesday January 31.
Controversy reigned as the Boxing Day encounter was abandoned at half time with Southend leading 1-0 and the home side down to ten men. Problems with the floodlights, which had been identified before kick-off, were blamed for the abandonment.
Southend supporters were angry that Aldershot did not offer them a refund, instead giving them the chance to attend the rearranged game at half price. However, many fans will not be able to travel on a weekday night.
The kick off time for the rearranged fixture is 7.45pm.
