Blues set for fifth January signing

INTERNET sources claim that Bohemians striker Anthony Flood is to become Southend United’s fifth signing of the January transfer window.
Flood, 27, has played all his career in Ireland and Sweden. He stands 6ft 3ins tall and scored eight goals in 33 matches last season.
He was recently on trial at Mansfield Town but was not signed by the Stags despite scoring in a reserve game.
Although nothing has been confirmed by any official sources, Flood’s Facebook page revealed he was in talks with the Blues.
