CONTROVERSIAL Frenchman Bilel Mohsni has returned to England and is back in training with Southend United.
The mercurial defender-turned-forward has chipped in with some crucial goals this season but has also upset team mates, supporters and his manager with his behaviour, including storming off against Morecambe when substituted.
That incident, in February, was the second of its kind in three months and looked to be the final straw for Paul Sturrock, who did not consider Mohsni for the next five matches.
However, despite rumours linking him to moves away from the club, Blues announced this morning that Mohsni would be once again considered for selection at the weekend against Bristol Rovers.
Mohsni has split the fanbase down the middle this season. While there is no denying his talent and importance to the team’s attacking play, he has let down those around him too often with his behaviour on and off the pitch. Team spirit is paramount in a team game, and fans will be crossing their fingers that the team welcome him back and the squad can pull together for promotion.
