Bilel to stay for another year

BLUES manager Paul Sturrock has this week activated an option to extend Bilel Mohsni’s contract by another year, the Southend Echo has reported today.
The fiery Frenchman hit the headlines for good and bad reasons last season, involved in a string of off-field incidents but proving a talisman on the field, netting 13 goals.
The fans’ favourite will now command a transfer fee if he leaves Southend before next summer.
