Nominate All At Sea for glory

9 May

THE Football Supporters Federation has launched its end of season football writers awards, and have included a category of Fanzine of the Year.
We here at All At Sea towers are encouraging readers to nominate us. We don’t care if we win or not, we just want an excuse to go up to the smoke on a piss up for the awards ceremony on July 9th.
If you wish to make this dream of ours come true, please send an e-mail to awards@fsf.org.uk nominating AAS for the Fanzine of the Year award.
The nominations will be whittled down to a shortlist, and the FSF panel will decide the winner from there.
Nominations must go through to the FSF by midnight on May 20th.
Full details are available from http://www.fsf.org.uk/news/fsf-football-writers-awards-2011.php

Midfielder Michael Timlin has joined Southend on a month’s loan from League One Swindon.
Paul Sturrock moved swiftly to snap up the former Fulham player following an injury to skipper Craig Easton.
Easton suffered a calf injury during Saturday’s defeat to Northampton Town and looks likely to be out until mid-October.
